Frank Miller and Klaus Janson — the creative team behind Batman: The Dark Knight Returns — are joining CGC Signature Series to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the landmark series. Miller redefined Batman as a dark, brooding hero and was inducted into the Will Eisner Hall of Fame in 2015; Janson is an Eisner Award-winning inker, penciller and colourist whose work with Miller also spans Daredevil and The Dark Knight III. A yellow label from this event isn't just authentication — it's a piece of comics history.

⚠️ Submission deadline: Your books must be with 454 Comics by Friday 7 August 2026. CGC must physically receive all submissions in Florida by Friday 4 September 2026. Because we ship internationally on your behalf, we need your books in hand by this date to allow time for processing and dispatch. No exceptions — late arrivals cannot be included in this event.

📦 How It Works

1. Select your signing option and complete your purchase
2. Pack your comic securely — no need to cut windows in bags, we handle bag preparation; if you want particular signature placement you are welcome to prep bags yourself
3. Send to: Kerrod Landis, 18 Jasmine Drive, Blacks Beach QLD 4740
4. We submit to CGC, your book gets signed, graded, and encapsulated
5. Your encapsulated comic is returned to you

🔄 What Happens Next

We communicate when there is something to report. CGC's estimated turnaround after signing is six weeks for grading. Once your book is encapsulated you'll receive images of your CGC case and an estimated return delivery timeframe.

⚠️ Important Notes

• Comics must be at 454 Comics by Friday 7 August 2026 so we can meet CGC's Friday 4 September 2026 receipt deadline in Florida
• Marker colour and signature placement are at the signer's discretion — colour requests are welcome but not guaranteed
• CGC membership credits and paid membership discounts cannot be applied to private signing fees
• If your book is already CGC certified, CGC will remove it from its holder for an additional fee and it will go through grading again — the grade is not guaranteed to remain the same
• All ungraded books must be in window bags — we handle this on your behalf
• Write FM/KJ on all sides of your shipping box and initial it — CGC requirement; failure to do so may result in your submission not being honoured
